Led by head trainer Josh Edwards, Brisbane Canine Coaching is built on a foundation of problem-solving and relationship building. With a career spanning years of working closely with police forces in Australia including The Australian Federal Police, Victoria Police and Queensland Police Service, as well as other international agencies from The Middle East, Josh has honed his skills training dogs for high-stakes roles such as counter-terrorism, general duties policing, and detection work. He has also trained search-and-rescue dogs now serving with various organisations throughout Australia.

Josh’s extensive experience coaching handlers and developing dogs for these critical roles has given him an unparalleled understanding of canine behaviour, as well as the ability to identify and solve complex training challenges. More importantly, it has taught him how to communicate effectively with people, ensuring dog owners feel confident, informed, and empowered throughout the training process.
